Victoria Laird

Head of Ballet

Victoria’s passion for dance started when she was just 3 years old. She has since danced in the Hills District studying all forms of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary & Musical Theatre. Victoria completed her Certificate in Ballet teaching studies in 2012 and is now fully qualified with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) which is the only internationally accredited Ballet syllabus. This accreditation allows Victoria to not only teach the RAD syllabus but also send students for their ballet exams. Victoria has continued her professional development attending numerous courses throughout the years, such as an intensive workshop in ‘Progressing Ballet Technique’ produced by Marie Walton-Mahon and she also attended ‘The Introduction to Grades Four and Five’ course run by the RAD. Victoria will continue to attend many courses to keep her teaching methods fresh and up to date. It has always been Victoria’s dream to inspire the younger generation in hope that they take her skills, expertise and love of the arts and make it their own.
